γ-Butyrolactone（GBL）

γ -butyrolactone (GBL) is a kind of deliquescent colorless oily liquid with weak characteristic odor and soluble in water. γ -butyrolactone is a common solvent and reaction reagent in chemistry. It is also used as an aroma, detergent, cyanoacrylate remover, paint remover and solvent in some liquid aluminum electrolytic capacitors. In the manufacture of lithium batteries, γ -butyrolactone is used as a special non-aqueous solution of lithium ions.
